Roberts "shield" Tipsis is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Latvia. He began his career in 2019 as a member of the Latvian team Team Titan. In 2020, shield joined Vyrix, but his stay with the organization was brief. Just a month later, he transferred to Wolsung, where he remained until January 2021. Then he joined LowLandLions, spending the entire year with the Benelux organization.

In May 2022, shield returned to Wolsung, this time taking on the role of the team's primary AWPer. His performances earned him a move to The Prodigies in January 2023. Later that year, in November 2023, he became a player for Monte Gen.

On January 24, 2025, shield joined SkyFury. A year later, on January 30, 2026, he transferred to 9INE. Shortly afterward, on May 12, 2026, he was signed by team Nexus, where he still plays today..
